The annual G7 summit takes a bizarre turn when the world’s most powerful leaders find themselves hopelessly lost in a dense, eerie forest. Tasked with drafting a provisional statement regarding a looming global crisis, the group’s initial frustration quickly spirals into absurdist horror as they struggle to navigate the disorienting woods. Hilda Orlmann, the pragmatic German Chancellor, tries to maintain order, but her authority is constantly undermined by the increasingly erratic behaviour of her colleagues. As tensions rise, fuelled by dwindling supplies and paranoia, rumors and half-truths become more dangerous than any wild animal. Edison Wolcott, the sharp-tongued US President, sees conspiracies around every tree, convinced that unseen forces are manipulating their predicament. Meanwhile, Cardosa Dewindt, the composed Prime Minister of the UK, attempts to mediate, but her diplomatic skills are tested to their limits. The arrival of a mysterious figure, Maxime Laplace, a local guide, offers a glimmer of hope, but his motives are ambiguous, and his knowledge of the woods seems unsettlingly intimate.
